Overview
Bhaktapur Tour is a cultural journey to one of Nepal’s most beautifully preserved medieval cities, located about 13 km east of Kathmandu. Known as the “City of Devotees,” Bhaktapur is famous for its ancient palaces, pagoda-style temples, courtyards, and rich Newari traditions.
The highlight of the tour is Bhaktapur Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with historic monuments, intricate wood carvings, and centuries-old architecture. Visitors can explore iconic landmarks such as Nyatapola Temple, the tallest temple in Nepal, and 55-Window Palace, a masterpiece of traditional craftsmanship.
The tour also includes visits to traditional pottery squares, narrow brick-paved alleys, and local markets where you can experience authentic Newari culture, cuisine, and lifestyle. Bhaktapur offers a peaceful and less chaotic atmosphere compared to Kathmandu, making it an ideal destination for history lovers and cultural explorers.
