Terms and Conditions

Nepal Holiday Trek has set its terms & conditions as the basis for accepting bookings. They contain legal obligations; we encourage you to read them carefully before proceeding with any booking.

Unless otherwise stated, bookings made through Nepal Holiday are subject to these terms & conditions; in all booking arrangements, the person making the booking shallbe deemed to have accepted these conditions on behalf of the persons named in the booking.

Any change/modification to these terms & conditions shall come into effect only after it is made in writing by and with the authority ofNepal Holiday.

Booking

You may reserve your trek by making a preliminary booking through the form available on this website.  A preliminary bookingis made without any prepayments. It requires confirmation and payment or a financial commitment to be a final reservation.

Liability

1)Nepal Holiday Trek aims to make your holidays memorable. During the service period, we perform professionally. However, we cannot take any responsibility for any alteration of the itinerary due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances, such as natural calamities, political unrest, flight cancellations, delayed arrival, sickness, or accidents. Clients should bear any extra cost incurred thereof on the spot.We advise all our clients to take out their own insurance tocover against medical and personal accidentrisk adequately.

2) In a clear understanding, the rolesNepal Holiday Trekplays are of an agent while undertaking any treks, tours, transportation, hotel accommodation and other services. Some incidents, such as accidents, damage, loss, delays, and international flight cancellations/delays, are beyond our control. Nepal Holiday Trek, any of its employees or agents shall not be responsible or liable in any way for such inconveniences.

Assumption of risk

As a traveller/trekker, you may presume that during the course of the trip, there are always some probable risks.We have to assess the riskswhile travelling in mountainous terrain, accidents or illness in remote places without medical facilities, and the forces of nature. Traveller/trekker should agree to assume all risks associated with the journey,and agree that no liability will be attached to the company or any of its representatives incase caused by such hazards.

The weather conditions in the mountains are not always predictable. It is another factor that directly impacts your journey.Hence, patiencein mind, enthusiasm and proper preparation before starting the journey are essential.

Cancellation Policy

We encourage you tomake proper planning before booking any trip with Nepal Holiday Trek and Expedition.We accept there may besome unavoidable circumstances; as aconsequence, you have to cancel your trip.

  • If cancellationis made 25 days in advance of the trip departure, the client has to pay 15% of the total trip cost as a cancellation charge. The remaining sum will be adjusted later on the next trip or refunded.But the client has to bear allthe processing chargesof Nepal Rastra Bank tomake a draft.
  • If cancellation is made just before 15 days, the cancellation charge will be 40% of the total trip cost. The remaining sum will be adjusted later on the next trip or refunded.But the client has to bear allthe processing chargesof Nepal Rastra Bank tomake a draft.
  • If cancellation is made just before 07 days, cancellation charge will be 60% of the total trip cost. The remaining sum will be adjusted later on the next trip or refunded.But the client has to bear allthe processing chargesof Nepal Rastra Bank tomake a draft.
  • If the client cancels the trip within the week of departure or upon arrival in Kathmandu, there will be no refund.The clienthas to take legal action toget the due amount.

Impact on your journey

We putour every effortto ensure a comfortable travelling experience for you, but it isa must to understand that what you mightbe accustomed to inthe Western affluent countries, the Himalayan countries may not affordsuch facilities. The weather is another factor that may directly impact your journey. Hence, patience, enthusiasm, and proper preparation before heading out are a mustto venture into the journey.

Travel Insurance

You should purchase a comprehensive travel insurance packageagainst medical, naturalcalamity, helicopter evacuation, personal accident, trip cancellation, etc. This is strongly suggested to all our esteemed clients.

Tour Amendment

To make alterations to any trek/tour itinerary, prior notice is requested. Youare advised to stay in touch with us thus. But occasionally, you may be obliged to do so en route under certain circumstances, for instance, bad weather, etc.

Your personal belongings

During the tour/trekking, our team crews will do their best to keep your luggage safe.However, incase of any loss or damage to your luggage orproperty belongingswhen carried by porters, ponies or vehicles, our company will not be responsible for the loss. To cover such a hazard, youare advised to purchase comprehensive insurance.

Papers & Documents

All necessary documents should be presented in sequence, for example, to issue a visa, necessary permits, etc.We are not accountablein case of any tripformality not completed in time before the trip departs due to the absence of essential papers and documents.

Risk & Responsibility

Your safety and enjoyment are our prime concern.We thereforecarry out our responsibility honestly & sincerely to ensure your holidaytrouble–free as well as you have desired. Nevertheless, unless stated otherwise,the trip may be changed under uncertainand inherent circumstances such as landslides, roadblockage, floods, snow, political unrest,cancellation of flights, delayedarrival, sickness or accidents, etc. A tour/trek guide who representsNepal Holiday Trek and Expedition Pvt. Ltd deserves all authority during your tours. If you commit any unlawful act, youare compelled to leave the tour. No refund willbe made in such a case.
