Overview
The Nar Phu Valley Trek is a remote and culturally rich adventure in the hidden valleys north of Manang. Opened to trekkers in 2003, this restricted area offers untouched Himalayan landscapes, medieval Tibetan-style villages, and dramatic mountain passes far from the crowded trails.
The route branches off the Annapurna Circuit and leads into the isolated Nar and Phu villages before crossing the spectacular Kang La Pass (5,306 m), connecting back to the main Annapurna trail. Trekkers experience ancient monasteries, stone-built settlements, yak pastures, and panoramic views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, Tilicho Peak, and Himlung Himal.
Located within the stunning Annapurna Conservation Area, this trek is ideal for experienced trekkers seeking wilderness, culture, and high-altitude adventure.
