Overview
The Khopra Danda Trek (also known as Khopra Ridge Trek) is a peaceful and less-crowded alternative to the popular Ghorepani route in the Annapurna region. This scenic trek offers breathtaking panoramic views of Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and Machhapuchhre from the stunning ridge-top viewpoint at Khopra Danda (3,660 m).
The trek passes through charming Gurung and Magar villages, terraced farmlands, dense rhododendron forests, and alpine pastures inside the beautiful Annapurna Conservation Area. A side hike to sacred Khayer Lake (optional) adds extra adventure and spiritual significance to the journey.
